Several factors are responsible for the poor air quality in Egypt and Nigeria. They include air emission from industry, power generation, and a large number of older vehicles with poorly tuned engine. The illegal burning of garbage along roads and drains and in various and open dumping areas surrounding the major cities in both of the two countries is another important factor. These sources of pollution are a permanent problem calling for specific and long-term corrective actions. But the most important thing in the beginning to identify the contribution of each source to decide the priorities, cement industry is one of the major and strategic industry, it involves in development of structure of this advanced and modern world is quite clear but generates a lot of pollution during its production. So there a need to assess the contribution of cement companies to ambient air pollution and green house gase
