N2  - The present study is carried out at the experimental field of Institute of technology in tropics and subtropics (ITT), Germany in New Kalabsha village, Aswan governorate. Its coordinate is N 23,28,0623 - E 32,29,287 ) 185 m above sea level during the winter season 2009 {u2013} 2010. The aim of this study is to evaluate different strawberry genotypes (Sweet Charlie {u2013} Camarosa {u2013} Festival {u2013} Tamar) under different soil covers (Black - silver, Black , Transparent and bare ground) within different planting dates (20th October, 5th November and 20th November) in eastern sahara region, case study new kalabsha village, Aswan governorate Egypt. The first planting date had higher early yield followed by second and third planting dates respectively
