Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a public health problem worldwide. The most common risk factors for CKD include type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, family history of CKD, and age > 60 years. Progress to kidney failure could be prevented by screening and early treatment of CKD. Objectives: To detect the prevalence of stages of CKD among patients attending outpatient clinics in sohag University Hospital.
