<br/><br/> Some pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-Ü and IL-6 are overproduced by adipocytes with obesity, while other adipokines, like adiponectin is decreased. Foeniculum vulgare plant has a pharmacological anti-inflammatory activity, also Plantago ovata considered as a source of soluble fibers and has an antiobesity effect. The aim of this study was to investigate the therapeutic roles of these plants in the treatment of obesity and to establish a relationship between adipokines, cytokines and obesity
