Gebel Qattar area (the study area) is located in the North Eastern Desert, North West of Hurgada city, Egypt. It is bounded between Longitudes 33{u00B0} 14 11 and 33{u00B0} 20 16 E and Latitudes 27{u00B0} 04 00 and 27{u00B0} 08 30 N G. Qattar extends from east to west by a length of about 15 km. The area chosen for this study covers part of G. Qattar, with rectangular shape and covers about 70 kmĀ². All samples of the present study were taken from the sites of G. qattar (I, II and V) and Wadi Elabde. These samples are plant and soil samples.
