This research presents a framework that aids contractors in the planning of runway construction using computer simulation. It consists of two modules; Runway simulation module and decision making module. Runway simulation module considers three types of pavements; Asphalt Construction, Concrete Construction and Asphalt with Concrete Touchdown zone Construction.Three models are considered in the developed tool to capture the different construction methods that are involved in runway projects.
