The thesis is structured into theoretical basis, analytical and practical studies where some Egyptian urban neighborhoods located in the new settlements of 6th of October and El-Sheikh Zayed are evaluated using a {u2018}Neighborhood Sustainability{u2019} common checklist that is concluded from a thorough study of the previously mentioned Rating tools
