The mixtures were added with or without Bacillus megatherium var. phosphaticum (phosphate solublizing bacteria) and Bacillus mucilaginosus (potassium solublizing bacteria) at 3 L/feddan. Rhizobacterin biofertilizer (a mixture of Azotobacter chroococcum and Azospirillum lipoferum) was added to all treatments at 600 g/ feddan as a source of nitrogen. All the treatments significantly enhanced plant height, number of branches/ plant, leaf area, number of fruits, root length, fresh and dry weights of leaves and roots/plant, and fresh and air dry weights of calyces /plant as well as seed yield/plant and seed oil percentage and seed oil yield/ plant, anthocyanin content and acidity of calyces, total chlorophylls, carotenoids , ER -
