Objectives: The objectives of this study were designed to assess the postural balance in people with multiple sclerosis (MS) by using clinical and instrumental techniques and specify the most direction in the balance instability in the MS patients. Subjects and methods: Fifty patients diagnosed as multiple sclerosis with both types RRMS and SPMS, and twenty healthy volunteers were recruited for postural balance assessment. Assessment was done by using the Timed Up and Go test (TUG) & Berg Balance Scale (BBS) as clinical tools in measuring the postural balance, as well as the instrumental assessment by using the Biodex Stability System (BSS) to determine the correlations between these methods
