The most frequent age group being those between 18 - 40 years (46.2%) followed by those below 18 years (36.6%) with male predominance (61.2%). The accidental cases comprised the highest frequency among the studied groups (50.7%) followed by suicidal cases (29.9%). The most frequently ingested agents were Tramadol (36.6%) followed by miscellaneous agents (31.3%) then organo- phosphorous insecticides (14.9%).
