Background: nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a common condition that is largely a manifestation of obesity and characterized by lake of optimal health-related fitness or physical activity. The disparity in research and the necessity to add to the existing literature base led to the development of this study. Purpose: to determine response of non-alcoholic fatty liver to aerobic versus resisted exercise in obese women. Methods: Forty nonalcoholic fatty liver as diagnosed by physician obese women their age ranged from 40-50 years were selected from outpatient clinic of internal medicine department of Cairo University Hospitals; their body mass indices were 35:39.9 kg/m². The forty patients were classified into two groups equal in number; each group consisted of twenty patients
