Those children require a caregiver to assume major responsibility for their treatment. The aim of this study was to assess knowledge, attitudes and practices of caregivers of children with end stage renal disease on hemodialysis. An exploratory research design was utilized in this study. The study was conducted in pediatric hemodialysis unit which is belonging to outpatient clinics of Abu Elrish pediatric university hospital. A convenient sample of 54 caregivers and their (54) children with ESRD on hemodialysis were recruited for the study. Structured interview questionnaire was developed by the investigator and used to achieve the purpose of this study which consisted of 5 tools. The 1st tool: family caregivers{u2019} sociodemographic data, 2nd: caregivers{u2019} knowledge, the 3rd: caregivers{u2019} practices, 4th: 5 levels likert scale for caregivers{u2019} attitudes, and 5th: child assessment data sheet. The result of this study showed that more than three quarters of caregivers were females, married and not working. More than third of caregivers were illiterate, more than half from rural regions ER -
