Traffic pollution is the most dangerous source of air pollution due to its capacity. This study employed 2-Dimentioal model for urban street canyon modeling using ANSYS fluent 14. Parametric study of air pollutants dispersion in urban street canyons studies the effects of street width to building height ratio, air velocity variation, foot path to street width ratio and existing and design of Street barriers. The study indicates that low dense buildings are preferred than high. Air velocity distribution and vortices structure controls air pollutants levels. Street width to foot path ratio decrease increases removal efficiency of air pollutants from human footpath area. Street barriers cause reduction in air pollution level at downwind footpath and also increase at upwind footpath. Downwind street barrier is more important than upwind barrier in air pollutants dispersion
