fluconazole has been considered one of the most effective antifungal drugs used in oral, systemic and vaginal candidiasis, and has also been used in agriculture insecticides. The present Study was done to determine the teratogenic effect of fluconazole on craniofacial development in albino rat, and to evaluate this effect in relation to different doses.In this work, 40 pregnant rats of norvigicus strain were used and devided into 4 groups. The 1st group "A" consisted of 10 pregnant rats and used as a control group that received nothing. The 2nd group "B" consisted of 10 pregnant rats and used as sham control group, this group received normal saline by intraperitoneal injection from day 8 to day 13 of pregnancy. The 3rd group"C1" consisted of 10 pregnant rats that received 40 mg/kg/day of fluconazole by intraperitoneal injection from day 8 to day 13 of pregnancy. The 4th group "C2" consisted of 10 pregnant rats that received 80 mg/kg/day fluconazole by intraperitoneal injection from day 8 to day 13 of pregnancy
