N2  - The postmodern architecture began as a solution of the rejection of the modern architecture due to ignoring the human needs and the public taste. The functional and formalized shapes of the modernist style are replaced by the expressive and symbolic values of historical architectural elements. A sample of postmodern architecture projects are chosen as case studies to evaluate the influence and reluctance to use of the postmodern architecture with its historical features on the functions required. Finally, the research recommends the postmodern architecture due to its acceptance from most of its users in the sample studied
