Cardiotoxicity is one of the major causes of death particularly in cancer patient who receiving chemotherapy. This study aimed to investigate the potential protective effect of Balanities aegyptiaca fruit extract against DOX-induced cardiotoxicity which was directly correlated to its constituents of antioxidants, phenolic, saponins, flavonoids compounds. In this study 80 mice were divided into six groups to evaluate heart function (AST, LDH, CK MB, and Troponin T) and antioxidant enzymes (MDA, CAT, SOD, GSH and GP x) which showed a very high significant differences returning back near to normal results specially in DOX and Balanities aegyptiaca ( B. a.) extract treated group
