For which there is no effective cure available. CIA was chosen as an animal model of RA as it produces many of the clinical and pathological features of human RA. Male albino rats were divided into 7 groups: N, D, A, Cb, Ca, M and CM. Treatments in groups Ca, M and CM were initiated from day 20 and continued till day 69. Blood samples were collected on days 0, 20, 41, 48, 61 and 69 post-induction, and serum levels of IL-17, IL-23, IL-27, IFN-y and TGF-ß were measured. Rats were sacrificed on the 69th day and thymus, lung, liver, spleen, kidney and hind paws were collected for histopathological examination UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
