The methods of the removal needed to be payed research for environmental friend, sustainablty and costs active method for removing heavy metal from polluted wastewater and soil. Water contamination with heavy metal during the emptying of industrials wastewaters is a worldwide environment problems due to their toxicity. Fast manufactoring has industriously donated in the removal of toxicity heavy metal to waste flows. So the removal and recovery of these metals from industrial effluents offer a versatile field of research. The objective of the research was to discuss the possibility of rice husk and red mud as low cost adsorbents wastes which are effective and economical for the removal heavy metals like lead and cadmium in order to consider its application is treating industrial wastewater. Adsorption studies were carried out in batch process, the effect of environmental condition such as adsorbate concentration ( 10, 25, 50 and 100 ppm ) is studied to evaluate the removal efficiency . Also effect of weight ratio of different adsorbent ( 0.1, 0.5, 2, 3, 5 mg/100ml of wastewater) , agitation speed (50 ,100, 150, 200 and 250 rpm) ,solution pH ( 3,5,6,7 and 9) ,mech size of adsorbent ( 60, 75, 90, 150, 250 æm ) ,contact time (5 ,30 ,60, 90 ,120 min) and temperature (30, 40, 50, 60, 70 oc ) were investigated . Kinetics study show that lead & cadmium ion were removing by various adsorbent quickly through the initial 30 min. , and after two hours the equilibriums were happened , The best pH from (6-8) , The removal efficiency for lead & cadmium ion from 40 to 98 % of heavy metal with the adsorbent.
