Upon dilution with the aqueous fluid and mild agitation the self- emulsifying components readily and quickly disperse into microemulsion. Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, with an elimination half- life (T1/2) 17.5 hours and 2 hours for the onset of action. Tadalafil is a class II drug, with low solubility, thus having a bioavailability of approximated 30%. Overcoming the delayed onset of action as well as increasing the bioavailability was approached in this study ER -
