Two of these compounds were tested against michigan cancer foundation 7 (MCF 7) breast cancer cell line, Hepatocellular carcinoma, Human (HEPG 2) a human liver carcinoma cell line and COS cells [CV 1 (simian) in origin, and carrying the SV40 genetic material] a fibroblast-like cell line derived from monkey kidney tissue, showed inhibition effect against the proliferation of the three tested cell lines.
