Pre- and post-treatments for each supplement were separately established in diabetic rats. A challenging group treated with the current anti-diabetic drug amaryl was introduced in our study for comparing results besides the diabetic non treated group and the frank control one. Some serum biochemical parameters were determined besides the immunological parameters in thymus and spleen. Also histological examinations of pancreas were investigated for showing the impact of treatments on diabetes progress in the stained pancreatic islets. Immunohistochemical assay was introduced on two glycolitic hormones; insulin and glucagon. Results showed that post-supplementions of all studied antioxidants showed a better improvement in almost all parameters under investigation UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
