Methodology: Thirty patients of overweight women their BMI ranged from 25 to 30 kg/m², their ages ranged from 20-40 years, they were selected two months post operatively, and assigned randomly into two equal groups. Study group (A)consisted of 15 patients who received selected physical therapy exercise program (aerobic and strengthening exercises 30 minutes/session) three times weekly for 12 weeks in addition to activities of daily living (ADL), control group (B) consisted of 15 patients were asked to maintain their ADL only, for 12 weeks. The measurements using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) were done before the study and after 12 weeks of treatment for both groups. Student t-test was used to analyze the data. Results: It showed that there was a significant decrease in the mean value of fat mass and a significant increase in mean value of muscle mass of study group (A) post treatment compared to control group (B). Conclusion: It was concluded that selected physiotherapy program included aerobic and strengthening exercises was effective in improving body composition after abdominal liposuction in women ER -
