Subjects, Materials and Methods: The shoulder, elbow and wrist joints range of motion was evaluated in a sample of one hundred normal participants aged between (20-35) years, using Kinovea software by three trained raters. Measurements were taken in a blinded random manner to test the Inter-rater reliability. Intra-rater reliability was examined by a single rater. Results: ± SD of age was (27.6±4.2) years, height was (168.9±7) cm and weight was (69.9±8.2) kg. The inter-rater reliability ranged from Inter-Correlation Coefficient of (0.87 to 0.98), while the inra-rater reliability ranged from Inter-Correlation Coefficient of (0.92 to 0.99). The standard error of measurement performed with Kinovea ranged between (0.88{u00B0} and 1.3{u00B0}) for the inter-rater reliability, and (0.6{u00B0} and 0.86{u00B0}) for the intra-rater reliability. The minimal detectable change was between (2.5{u00B0} and 3.6{u00B0}) for the inter-rater reliability and between (1.7{u00B0} and 2.4{u00B0}) for the intra-rater reliability. Conclusion: The current study presented high reliability and low minimal detectable change for upper limb joints range of motion measures obtained with Kinovea software when used in normal individuals. The inter-rater reliability was higher than the intra-rater reliability UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
