N2  - Many multiphase flow correlations have been developed over the years. Each correlation was developed based on a set of assumptions and used, usually, limited data for its development. This thesis presents a new approach for selecting appropriate multiphase flow correlations in tubings. The work depends on collecting large database of bottom hole flowing pressure data then an expert system was developed and the data were divided into clusters with known inputs. Finally for each cluster, best correlation(s) were identified and the error resulted from each correlation was calculated
