The present work has started by a microbiological survey for microbial production of keratinase enzyme through transformation of keratin (substrate of concern) into useful hydrolysates. The competitive battle for the selection of the best keratin - loving amongst the stating 43 and the semi - final 14 microbes ended by cyberlindnera fabianii NRC3 aza. Time course of this microbe for keratinase production by submerged fermentation (SmF), started from the first day and reached its maximum level (1706.67U / ml, 183.51 U / mg protein) on the third day. Complete solubilization of the soild feather occurred by day 4 of cultivation when the culture solution appeared as a suspension. Nomenclature as cyberlindnera fabianii had been applied to the isolate and was suffixed by NRC3 aza. The isolate was suggested to a novel species of candida. Electrophoresis was carried out for the batch precipitated keratinase enzyme partial pure fraction with 100% ammonium sulfate
