This is a case control study conducted on 50 juvenile systemic lupus erythematosus patients and 100 normal healthy controls. Liver and spleen biometrics (mid hepatic and longitudinal spleen dimensions) were measured using abdominal ultrasound and correlated with different clinical and laboratory data as well as SLEDAI-2K activity score and SLICC damage index. Our results showed that liver and spleen biometrics are significantly higher in JSLE patients compared with controls. Also mid hepatic dimension has positive correlation with activity scores so it can be used as a marker for disease activity in JSLE patients
