Patients were randomly allocated into 2 equal groups, 30 each, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria: GA (n=30) in which ambu auraGain was used for ventilation. GB (n=30) in which BASKA mask was used for ventilation. Our main result was that both the ambu auraGain and the baska mask provide an overall high airway seal pressure in the majority of adult patients. However, the baska mask proved to provide a better seal with the glottis aperture compared to ambu auraGain ER -
