<br/><br/> CD81, a member of the tetraspanin membrane protein family, has been identified as an essential receptor for HCV (hepatitis C virus). Herein, we aimed at expioring the role of mircroRNas on regulating CD81 receptor expression. Bioinformatic analysis was carried out to select potential mircroRNAs that binds to CD81 3'untranslated region. Screening was dons in liver biopsies taken from twenty eight HCV genotype-4 (G4) patients and ten healthy donors
