<br/><br/> Purpose of the study: The main purpose of this study is to combine the two fields of  transformative service research (TSR) and evidence-based design (EBD) to improve in-patient welibeing within hospitals. An interdisciplinary approach was taken to fill the research gaps under TSR an EBD. This study presents an unprecedented work as the relation between the two fields of TSR an EBD was not tested before in the literaturs. Research design and methodology: An empirical approach was taken to answer the research questions and hypotheses in relation to improving in-patient wellbeing
