Since the discovery of RNA interence (RNAi), it has been applied in cancer biology to investigate gene mechanisms involved in developing cancerous cells and help designing new therapeutics. Small interfering RNA (siRNA), a small double stranded nucleotide induces the RNAi machinery inside the cells siRNA therapeutics poses a challenge due to their rapid clearance by nuclease and minimum cellular uptake.
