The main producing reservoir is the lower Safa member of Khatatba formation (middle Jurassic). Reservoir quality prediction and its relationship to the production performance have been the two main challenges for developing the lower Safa reservoir. Therefore, the main objectives of this thesis were to introduce a systematic methodology to integrate the different available data types (mainly core and log data) for analysis and characterization of the different elements controlling the reservoir quality productivity distribution and to put spotlights on the different uncertainties. The study has introduced an integrated workflow for geological reservoir characterization on different scales (e.g. core, thin-section, well log) and linked those geological reservoir properties to the hydraulic flow properties of the reservoir ER -
