The powder waste was analyzed by XRF for chemical composition, XRD for mineralogical composition, DTA and TGA for thermal analysis, TEM, and particle size distribution. The support ceramic membrane samples were formed into disks by using organic binder (PVA) with different concentrations, and pressed at 25 and 35.5 MPa, dried then fired at temperatures ranging from 1100 to 1300{u00B0}C for different soaking times. The following properties were then investigated: Apparent and closed porosity, bulk density, and water absorption. The values of filtrate water quality and salt separation were determined for a feed with different turbidity and salt concentration. It was found the best firing temperature of ceramic membrane is equal to 1250{u02DA}C, as it gave the highest values for the salt separation percentage and turbidity removal ER -
