Objectives: Evaluate the effect of nutritional counseling on nutritional status and quality of life of study individuals. Materials and Method: In an interventional study 150 patients with breast cancer assigned to interventional group and control group. The interventional group received 4 nutrition counseling sessions. Both groups were assessed at recruitment, after 2 and 3 months. Assessment parameters were anthropometric measurements, FFQ and EROTC QOL questionnaires Results: In intervention group fruit, vegetables, milk, fish intake and quality of life were significantly increased (P{u02C2}0.05) while BMI, fats and sugars intake were significantly decreased (P{u02C2}0.05).These changes were not observed in the control group.
