Different genetic background of different ethnicities affect disease pattern. This study aims at describing the epidemiology of JIA in Egyptian children following up in pediatric rheumatology clinic, Cairo University. Three hundred and seventeen files of JIA children in the period from January 2006 to December 2016 were revised. Female to male ratio was 1.13:1. Mean age at disease onset was 5.1 years , the most common JIA type was systemic onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis (48.4%) ,the most commonly affected joint was the knee (67%) ,the most common extra articular manifestation was fever (48.1%) and themost common laboratory finding was elevated ESR (91.6%). Uveitis was found in 10.5%. Concerning treatment at time of study, 64.7% were on methotrexate and 28.1% were on biological treatment ER -
