Electrical conductivity and dielectric properties of the samples were measured at room temperature. The results showed that the electrical behavior of Polystyrene/graphite nanocomposite samples can be described well by percolation theory. The electrical conductivity clearly exhibits an insulator-conductor transition at =0.03, the mechanical properties of their composites were tested. The highest degree of reinforcement is obtained for polystyrene loaded with =0.01 graphite contents. The experimental stress-strain results showed a good fitting with the general form proposed by manges and schmachtenberg. The tensile strenght data fit well on the failure envelope proposed by landel et al UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
