They were 23 males (57.5%) and 17 females (42.5%), and their ages ranged from 3 months to 9 years. They were randomly divided into 2 groups (each group was composed of 20 cases), group 1 received separate bottles TPN and group 2 received 3 in 1 admixture solution. They were subjected to biochemical and anthropometric analysis. Results: ٍshowed that most of the cases were malnourished. For group 1 cases, body weight was below 3rd percentile in 70% of the cases, for TSF, 60% were below 10th percentile and 30% were between 15th and 25th percentiles, and their head circumference was below the 10th percentile in 60% of the cases. For group 2 body weight was below 10th percentile in 85% of cases, TSF measurement showed that 50% of cases were below the 10th percentile and their head circumference was below the 10th percentile in 60% of the cases.
