It is part of Myopic traction maculopathy{u2019} (MTM which is a pathological entity that occurs due to vitreomacular traction in highly myopic eyes. In addition to foveoschesis, it comprises macular holes, shallow foveal detachment and tractional internal limiting membrane detachment.³{u⁰⁰B⁸}⁴ These changes are difficult to be diagnosed with conventional slit lamp biomicroscopy or fluorescein angiography in their early stages.⁴ ER -
