<br/><br/> The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of international reserves at the European central bank and the central bank of Egypt. The management of these huge reserves and the associated cost of holding it are the major issues faced by the central banks all over the world. This study reviews various types of determinants and factors affecting the international reserves. Furthermore, the study sheds light on the monetary policy at the European central bank and the central bank of Egypt in addition to how they manage and achieve financial stability through determining the optimum level of foreign reserves
