Vertebroplasty is the injection of bone cement materials into the vertebral bodyvia a large bore needle under imaging guidancein carefully selected patients with severe back pain due to compressed vertebra for the aim of fracture stabilization, defect consolidation & prevention of further vertebral body collapse in osteoporotic patients . Its a simple care day procedure that can be performed under general or local anesthesia with intravenous sedation. It has a rapid effect in decreasing back pain when performed for the appropriate indications. It requires a small number of instruments, C-arm image intensifier, in addition to bone cement. Objective:To evaluate the technique & the early results of patients who underwent percutaneous polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) vertebroplasty in the management of one or more vertebral osteoporotic fractures. Materials and Methods:A prospective study was carried out from September 2015 till June 2016. The study included 30 patients (21 females and 9 males) with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture. Age ranged from 49 to 90 years (average 67.5 years).Preoperatively all the patients were evaluated using a standardized sheet and the findings were recorded as preoperative clinical (subjective and objective) and radiological data. RESULTS: On a 10-point scale, in osteoporotic patients, the mean visual analogue scale preoperative was 8.7, decreasing to 1.1., mean correction in kyphotic angle is 4.66 ,Three patients experienced symptomatic complications (adjacent level fracture ) after several monthes
