Two nano particles types were used; nano-silica with ratios 1%, 2%, 3% of cement and nano-clay with ratios 5%, 7%, 9% of cement. The results showed that nano particles can be very effective in improvement of mechanical properties and durability of concrete and the highest enhancement was obtained using 2% nano-silica or 7% nano-clay.
