This approach has therefore remained the basis of clinic-pathological diagnosis of skin diseases for a long time . Yet it is important for dermatologists to recognize the clinical scenarios where imaging is indicated in the management of skin and subcutaneous lesions. Like suspicious malignant lesions, large or aggressive high-risk tumors, tumors that compromise vital anatomic structures, lesions with possible bony and orbital invasion. Imaging also may be needed in assessment of the extent of tumor invasion in soft tissue, staging of lymph nodes and metastatic disease, evaluation for potential perineural spread and post-operative surveillance for recurrent disease ER -
