Unfortunately, there was a little difference between both groups regarding the primary and secondary outcomes. Although ultrasound really helped visualizing the needle and orbital structures, its affordability and experience required for professional and fast block are challenging. On the other hand, experience and precaution truly minimize complication rates in blind techniques. Further studies on larger patient populations are need to really explore the potential of ultrasound in ocular regional anesthesia ER -
