Methods: This is a Prospective randomized comparative study including thirty female patients all had the problem of breast hypertrophy and all have underwent Wise pattern superomedial pedicle reduction mammoplasty the patients divided two groups the first group, including fifteen patients underwent Wise pattern reduction mammoplasty with inverted V flap and the other fifteen underwent Wise pattern reduction mammoplasty with triangular lipodermal flap for prevention of T junction dehiscence. Then compared both groups in regards to occurrence of dehiscence and patients satisfaction. Results: Two patients (13.3%) in inverted V flap group have major dehiscence and three patients (20%) have minor dehiscence compared to one patient (6.7%) in triangular lipodermal flap group has major dehiscence, and one patient (6.7%) has minor dehiscence. which is statistically insignificant. Conclusion: triangular lipodermal flap could be the future preferred technique as a modification to Wise pattern reduction mammoplasty for prevention or reduce the incidence of T junction complications UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
