Through impedance and velocity (profiles and maps) that are generated from seismic inversion and seismic attributes techniques respectively, Belayim reservoir is characterized. Eight 3D seperated post stack seismic lines accompanied by two wells having sonic and density data are used to perform these techniques. The outcome of this part show that the characterization of Belayim reservoir as sections and maps is achieved in a good manner and show that Hampson{u2013}Russell software can be used with 3D separated seismic lines although it is well known that it is limited to working with a 3D cube seismic data to give results. The characterization of the second, third, and fourth reservoir is achieved using hydraulic zonation technique via cluster analysis algorithm .Cored permeability and porosity data are used. Through this zonation, flow units which have the potential to extract fluids are determined more accurately. Kareem Dolomite is characterized using statistical zonation technique and Duncan's multiple range test. Only cored permeability data is required. The first one is used to delineate flow units of the reservoir. The final result of the Duncan's test is a group of sections in different trends representing the reservoir UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
