<br/><br/> Chronic subdural hematoma is one of the most common neurosurgical conditions. It is frequently encountered in elderly people, usually after minor head trauma. Recurrence of the hematoma is one of the most common complications which have been studied by many neurosurgeons. The recurrence and pathogenesis of CSDH are still a topic for debate and some uncertainty continues, the duration of drainage plays an important role in the recurrence of  the hematoma, in this study, we compared the duration of drainage between 2 groups less than 3 days of drainage and more than 3 days of drainage and its relation with the recurrence rates
