N2  - Aim of the study: This cross over randomized clinical trial was conducted to compare maxillary conventional metal obturator frameworks and injectable thermoplastic resin obturator framework regarding patient{u2019}s satisfaction and marginal bone loss. Materials and methods: Sixteen hemimaxillectomy (Aramany class I & II) patients ,satisfying the eligibility criteria were randomly assigned into two groups, to investigate the effect of the framework materials on patient satisfaction and marginal bone loss. One group (group V) patients received metallic frameworks at first and switched to thermoplastic resin frameworks. In group T patients started with thermoplastic resin then switched to metal frameworks. Patient satisfaction was recorded using a printed questionnaire at 0, 3 and 6 months of obturator insertion, while marginal bone loss was recorded using Digora system at 0 and six months of obturator insertion.Results: Results of this trial showed that no statistical significant difference between metal and thermoplastic resin obturator frameworks, regarding patient satisfaction and marginal bone loss around abutments
