Objectives: To assess the knowledge and preventive practices regarding HCV in Hepatitis C patients and their relatives presenting at National Hepatology Institute and to formulate recommendations based on study results to improve knowledge and prevent hepatitis C spread. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted. The patients of hepatitis C attending the outpatient clinic of National Hepatology Institute, Cairo and their relatives were the study subjects.
