<br/><br/> The influence synthetic (forta fi), natural (sawdust) and recycled (waste plastic) were investigated. The volumetric and stability characteristics were studied by Marshall tests while the mechanistic characteristics were measured by means of indirect tensile strength and unconfined compressive strength tests. The economic feasibility for all mixtures was performed and showed that the sawdust-modified asphalt mixtures exhibited significantly higher cost-effectiveness compared with all mixtures the previously mentioned types of mixtures was also studied
