There is decreased locoregional recurrence in patients who did pelvic lymphadenectomy in comparison to patients who did not do pelvic lymphadenectomy even in patients who showed negative pelvic lymph nodes after lymphadenectomy. Preoperative staging with local radiology and for distant metastases is a must for every case for proper staging and management and using proper imaging modalities for diagnosis. Stage at presentation is the most important prognostic factor and patients with metastatic disease are the worst prognosis. This study concluded that it is in favor of the other studies and guidelines which recommend pelvic lymphadenectomy during surgical staging of uterine sarcoma cases UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
