Ruptures of the Achilles tendon most commonly occur spontaneously in healthy, young, active individuals who are aged 30 to 50 years. The calf-squeeze test (Thompson test) determines a rupture. Ultrasound and MRI are used to evaluate suspected ruptures of the Achilles tendon. Operative treatment has been the method of choice for athletes and young people. Surgical repair after acute Achilles tendon rupture leads to lower rerupture rates than non-surgical treatment. After open repair, early functional rehabilitation improves outcome, but there are risks of infection and poor wound healing. Minimal invasive surgery reduces these risks; however, there are concerns about its stability. There are many methods for acute tendoachilles rupture management such as Korackow ,Bunnel and Giftbox . Gift box repair is considered as the best method of management Achilles Tendon rupture
